Now that the repubs have blocked a bill that would limit foreign countries from interfering with our elections, it seems that the only way for the Democrats to be competitive is to become aligned with the countries that can do us the most good.

They picked Russia, so I think the Dems should pick China. The Chinese don’t like the rapist-in-chief and they have lots of technology know-how. Honestly, without restrictions, it will be a mad dash to curry favor with various foreign leaders to get help with the election.

Somehow I don’t think this is what the founders intended, but if they are going to play it this way, we have no choice.

Once (if) we regain power, then laws can be strengthened.

A mutually extremely beneficial arrangement, solidified by marrying one of their daughters, ruthless and morally bankrupt Ms. Chao. They know that that, if domestic powers were to fail him (the Koch alliance won't!), they will always do what's needed to keep him in power. Of course, he's also taken roughly $1M from the Russians, last I checked, but that's neo-Republican politics.

3. When I took gym in high school,

we'd line up and then the teacher would have us count off by threes or sevens or whatever number, and those were the teams. I have never understood having teams chosen by supposed captains. Plus, the counting off method was remarkably efficient.
