Why We Think NASA Should Possibly Start Rooting For An Alien Invasion

Because then maybe they’d actually get some funding! After all, photon torpedoes are pretty expensive.

right, right... never mind he doesn't. NASA, USAF, NOAA, private industry and even FAA work together in the US space program. You can't look at the US space program without looking at the space budgets of all these agencies and of course that one other agency... They're all none to healthy right now

When it doesn't show up we can just say "my bad", but would actually get some spaceflight funding in the meantime. At this point facts don't seem to matter anyway.
