one of our fellow DUers, posted a photo of trumpie - in one of his trademarks looks of contempt - with a caption that read, "Hmmmm . . . .what can I fuck up today ?"

I printed it out, framed it and it hangs in the kitchen.

Each morning I’d read a new disgraceful action and think this will be the straw that bread me the camels back. But it never happens and I don’t look at news or internet the first thing when I wake up in the morning anymore.

17. I used to think that way, but not now.

I cancelled cable TV after Trump became President because I didn't want a constant reminder of that monster in the White House. The Presidential race made it clear that Trump's disturbing behavior wouldn't cease, and that cable news would continue to provide coverage of it in a manner that normalized him!

It was too depressing, and I also realized that I couldn't control my impulse to watch cable news unless I cut the cord entirely.

He's RARELY mentioned in my local news coverage, and multiple PBS channels have kept me entertained as far as TV goes.

and also what asinine thing has he tweeted over night. Sadly many late afternoons I wonder what mass shooting has occurred today. Really sad when you have these thoughts.
