President Trump posted pictures of a trashed out neighborhood in Baltimore and said that no one would want to live there.
I challenge everyone, particularly if you live in a Republican district or city, to go out and take some pictures of trashed out places in your district to shows that this is not just in Democratic districts with Democratic representatives.
I live in the Spring Branch neighborhood in Houston, which has some really nice areas and I'm pretty sure I can find some awful looking blocks in my neighborhood which elected Dan Crenshaw (R) last year.
We could figure out some good memes to attach to them.

(3,764 posts)They voted for Trump and have Republican representatives all over, so I don't expect you wouldn't find some trashy areas there. Florida, Oklahoma, Mississippi, Alabama, Louisiana ... I'm sure we have some members who can come put with some pretty good pictures from there. Then we make memes involving the Republican representatives there and say something to link them to Trump. I drive for Uber during the summer so I'm going to keep my eyes open for a good place.

(12,904 posts)I also like the idea of showing the beauty of the places dotard is attacking.
I would also like to see as many as possible show strong support for Rep. Cummings, because I think it would really piss off President Assface.

There was a good counterpoint to Trumps attack on Baltimore and Cummings raised by Eric Swallwell, namely that Baltimore is part of America and you cant trash part of America and expect to lead the whole. W used that against Gore effectively when he pointed out problems in Texas. I think this is a good and sound argument, and I would prefer to see us go down that path rather than engage in disparaging of our own. Sinking to his level would only play into Trumps hands by reinforcing his original attack, and further entrench both sides.

(31,997 posts)priced out and leaving so-before new development comes in they just board up the windows. Across the street diagonal is a coffee shop that was really great close because the rent raised and now it is just boarded up.
I don't know how to attach photos however, so I can't show it
