1. It is bad that he resigned.

He took his job, himself, and the needs of our nation seriously.

His resignation is indeed a very bad thing.

3. Only because we know whoever tRump picks next is going to be worse.

The worst of the worst is what we are getting for our supposed "leaders". What a sad, pathetic, laughing-stock of an administration we have. May they reap the scorn and ridicule they so richly deserve.

4. +1000

Exactly, every time someone leaves, he dredges the bottom of the swamp for someone even more evil and incompetent.

12. And, unfortunately, there seems to be no dearth of...

"even worse" miscreants and misanthropes to choose from.

11. I think we already know - it's likely to be this Rep. John Ratcliffe (R-TX)

character. Apparently a real kool aid drinker.

14. He was the one showboating at that last hearing.

Trying to attack and undermine Mueller. At the time I remember speculating that he was auditioning for something. I remember hearing some talking head on MSNBC doing the same thing.

It's probably a solid red district, but these days anything can happen

There appears to be no way to stop this coup.

7. I don't think he resigned...

he was fired, I bet, though in the scheme of things it probably doesn't matter.

8. There is nothing worse you can do in this administration than

putting your country ahead of partisan politics and worship of the chief fascist. That is, sadly as a country, where we are at this point in time.

9. months ago i said things were going to get worse and they did, now i will repeat

things are going to get much worse while our party continues to work with this monster instead of shutting everything down, make life miserable for the fascists every day, its war. No more budget deals, no more trying to keep the cesspool working, its time to drain the cesspool.

If drumpf wants you out make him fire you. The distinction is important.

17. At least he understood the threat we're under

That's why it's bad that he's leaving. Whoever replaces him will be an ass-licking Repuke who only carries water for Chump.

He's almost not entirely unqualified for the job....

How much farther is it to the bottom of this barrel?
