Yup, you built it!
This might just be the funniest picture from the RNC floating around the internet right now. (and it's true: http://bit.ly/UeBebz)
What do you think? Unfortunate accident or the most accurate message we've gotten from Tampa yet?

(10,103 posts)Like the picture of Preibus in front of the VIRGIN sign, I rather wonder that these people don't seem to have a clue how the rest of the world looks at them.

(39,451 posts)is not a great orator - he stumbles on his words alot. But so do I.
The things that come out of his mouth just make me beam inside.
Blueberry pie all the way!!!
I adore this man & will head right over to his fb page to give this a like.

(30,885 posts)...and they were discussing the "poetry" or Paul Ryan's speech, and the Rev...who was off-camera when he said this...said:
"Well, the poetry was better than the poetry from Ralph Kramden last night."
(For those too young to remember it, he was taking a shot at Chris Christie, who DOES resemble Jackie Gleason's character on "The Honeymooners."

True, the Rev asked if it was an "unfortunate accident" (rather than "Photoshopped" , but so what?
They're two photos from the RNC that someone turned into a collage. There is no "debunking" involved here. The U.S. National Debt" sign is REAL. It was SHOWN. The "We Built It" sign is REAL, and that shit found its way into EVERY speech. I could GIVE a shit if someone spliced the two together. "Debunking" means someone CREATED something that DID NOT EXIST. That did NOT happen HERE.

(49,015 posts)When it becomes an issue, it is important to distinguish between truth and actualities.
People ask in this thread "Are they so clueless" as to set up the two signs that way? The answer is "No, they did not set up the two signs that way.
But, ... are they so clueless that they don't see that the Republican President Bush built the huge debt on the shoulders of his daddy and his daddy's President, ... then the answer is "Yes, they are that clueless".
That would be the truth behind the Photoshopping.

(30,885 posts)Go to the supermarket and look at ANY magazine on sale and ANY model on ANY cover and tell me about the "truth behind Photoshopping." And if that's an issue, you're either going to have to deal with it every time you go into a supermarket or have someone do your grocery shopping for you.
No claims were maid, they just posted the graphic. I respect your opinion but I'm going to close my half of the discussion with you in the words I used to open it: "Doesn't matter."
