and add 1 more bureaucratic inconvenience to the "well regulated milita."
do you think that any one law or policy will stop this? I think hate speech is as responsible for as much of this as guns are.

(16,201 posts)No semi-automatics in civilian hands period. I've yet to see a mass shooting with a Winchester .30-30 or a Lee-Enflield.

(16,386 posts)When I Googled the question specifically, the consensus was that it would more than likely never get as far as a trial. The example given was a hypothetical robbery victim being hit over the head with a baseball bat and trying to sue the baseball bat manufacturer. The case would get tossed before it was heard. It doesn't seem analogous to me but that's what it said.

(1,207 posts)guns and bullets...and put that money into a fund to treat victims, both immediate, and long term care.
Taxes pay for other infrastructure, so maybe it's time to consider being out in public with these nuts a public liability.
