Maybe Epstein couldn't face his legal fate and simply killed himself.

I guess we'll find out. Or not.

He was a criminal defendant. What shithead lawyer puts the defendant on the stand to testify?

He wasn’t going to testify to jack shit.

Where do people get this nonsense?

Epstein being dead means he will never get to write his "book." or tell his side of the story, or say anything about anything that could be destructive to anyone. Dead is Dead. Yes, people will say he thought this or that, but his saying anything is done. Dead is Dead!

So that the people suing him could get the money? It’s not as if he needed the income.

What makes you believe he had any interest in making a public spectacle of himself in any way?

Furthermore, if Epstein was shopping these victims around, then don’t you think that Maxwell, let alone the victims, are aware of that?

A better question is why is it that only one known victim - Virginia Giuffre - makes any claim like that?

I love the part where the Boston PD chief, played by Alec Baldwin asked 'Yes, but qui bono, who benefits from this result?' And Matt Damon's character, Costello's Rat, said 'qui gives a fuck? It's a result.'

Testimony means he’s cut a deal with prosecutors.

And what prosecutor is ever going to want to give Epstein another deal?

He wasn't going to write a book, get a redemption tour, be a celebrity from prison. He was the absolute worst of the worst who would rather continue to cheat the world by killing himself than go to prison. He wasn't going to testify against anyone. Why would he? He wasn't able to live the life he had built anymore, and guys like that, if they can't dictate the terms, would rather die. He'd gotten to the end of the road. This world was no longer useful to him. So he left.
