something we need to hear from every Democrat.

Every Democrat running for every office - at least on the national level.

What will you do if/when a Democratic president is sworn in in January 2021? Will you pardon Trump, or decline to pursue further investigations of his administration? Or will you allow due process to continue at the federal level and, if appropriate, allow the Department of Justice to bring legal proceedings against him?

Do we "look ahead" and not dwell on the past? Or do we learn from that past?

This is ESPECIALLY true for those Democrats seeking the party's nomination for the presidential election, but it also holds for those running for Senate or HR seats.

In my opinion, our country has suffered from well-intended efforts to "move forward" and "not look back." Ford pardoned Nixon. Bush the 1st decided not to pursue accountability over Iran-Contra. (He was probably neck-deep in it himself.) Obama dropped further investigation of the Bush the 2nd administration's warmongering in Iraq. No one really followed up when revelations were made about the Gulf of Tonkin incident, Nixon's deliberate derailing of peace efforts in 1968, or any of the other myriad scandals that were discovered years after they were revealed. It was all so much "let's not bicker and argue about who killed who."

The rationale was always "we should move forward." Dwelling on the past was seen as harmful and not productive.

Iran-Contra happened because of Watergate. The Iraq War happened because of Iran-Contra. Every day, we're seeing the current administration wipe its dripping anus with the US Constitution because so much latitude was given to Trump's predecessors. People in high positions broke the law, and there weren't consequences.

We need to hear this from every Democrat running for office - there will be no amnesty without accountability. Our country will not survive if we keep allowing bygones to be bygones.

Republicans MUST face consequences for their criminal and un-American actions.

It was a huge mistake to avoid prosecuting for torture. That was about the most un-American action you could imagine.

What I propose: start with undoing the Trump judges. For every Trump judge appoint 2 normal judges. Undo trump.

Have the new AG of The US indict Donald Trump for crimes committed while in Office, prosecuted by AG Kamala Harris(if she is not VP).

Also indict one William Barr for covering up and lies while AG.

Get all of Trump's financials and go over them with a fine toothed comb for Russian connections related to the 2016 Election.

Shut down the Trump Organization for thorough investigation for Tax Evasion, RICO, and other crimes.

The underlying message is clear. Trump is scared of losing, going to jail, and losing everything he thinks he has amassed before and during his tenure as a POS POTUS.

from the past. Yes, it started with the Nixon problems. Draw the line there and we don't have the others.

It truly is time to make it stop - and we've never had such an urgent mandate to make it happen of behalf of the US Constitution and the integrity of the United States of America.

This is not a "sex" scandal - we laugh at how Italy and France handles the lack of discretion in their political scandals, and yet we have corrupt leaders lining their pockets and allowing corporate leaders rape our workers and system.

We have a foreign policy that is supporting the corporate mission - make money and to hell with anything else.

THIS MUST STOP!

THEY MUST PAY THE CONSEQUENCES FOR THEIR ACTIONS!

With unprecedented levels of corruption, especially Trump & his swamp cronies, we are experiencing the logical consequences of giving them a pass.

Trump is, of course an entirely new level of criminal. If any President deserves to die in prison, he would be it.

I want to see more attitudes like Rashida's ( "We're going to impeach the motherfucker!" ) but the Dems have been trying to tame and neuter The Squad.

Don't think we can expect much.
