All you have to do is tell people hurricanes don't exist and shut down any government agencies responsible for monitoring them.
That's the Republican plan for global warming. Why shouldn't it work for hurricanes?
The same strategy works for other environmental issues as well.

And if water and air pollution are not a problem, then why are we wasting any money on pollution controls and enforcement?
Yeah, it's crazy logic, logic that makes no more sense than nuking hurricanes.
It's promoted by people who think they'll profit from the resulting chaos, and people who believe that wishing for something, praying to a deity, etc...., will bend reality in their favor.
