Do the others have anything to say? And you know already hes going to invite Putin and try to make it G8.

(4,520 posts)Or is it passed around to all the members and it will America's turn next? If he does somehow get it Mar A Lago will all the participants be forced to stay there or can they book their own private lodgings somewhere safe?

(12,586 posts)I can't see anyone telling him "no" to holding the meeting at the Doral country club. Of course, it needs a lot of maintenance and upgrade work done to meet Trump's high standards. I wonder how much he'll bilk the taxpayers out of for this boondoggle? And how many contractors he'll stiff.
The biggest "NO" I want to hear is his plan to redesign the paint scheme of Air Force One to match his campaign plane. It looks like an inflated American Eagle airliner. The current livery was designed by a world reknown industrial designer, with input from JFK and Jackie.
Trump drew his own design, since, as we know, "Nobody does design better than I do."

(12,586 posts)He's already jealous that the Emir of Kuwait's airplane is bigger than Air Force One.
Like all 747s, the new aircraft will have a deck above the main level. The hump in which this level is housed has grown with each iteration of the design, and the new one will follow that tradition, with the second level being about half again larger than the current plane.
Right now the second level is used to handle communications. My prediction is that Trump will clean everything out and turn the entire second level (absent the cockpit, of course) into a presidential suite, with gold fixtures and the gaudish design we've come to associate with the man.
The real question is, will there be a separate suite for Melania? If he could, IQ45 would probably stick her in a separate airplane.

More golf cart rentals by taxpayers.
