"Ben managed to avoid the police, and instead documented protesters on the periphery of the clashing rallies. That’s when he encountered four people affiliated with Patriot Prayer beating up a left-wing protester on a sidewalk.

“I was shocked by the violence,” Ben says. “I remember thinking, ‘Patriot Prayer is only going to get more violent. And no one is going to stop them.’”

Ben, who calls veterans the “original” anti-fascists, says his time in the Navy inspired him to take action.

“When I joined the military, I made an oath to defend the constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic,” says Ben. “There’s no expiration date on that oath. I want to live my ideals.”

So Ben decided to fight back. But instead of joining local anti-fascist groups, Ben set his sights on weakening Patriot Prayer from the inside."

1. This will certainly bear watching

Interesting to me is the DIY nature of "Ben's" infiltration of Patriot Prayer while the Portland Police seem more interested in protecting the thugs and frauds in the nazi right. I hope Ben's recordings and other evidence help build a solid case against these miscreants.

4. If anybody's interested, this is what happens after the video in the link

Patriot Prayer went to the Cider Riot bar where all the Antifa were hanging out. After constantly trying to provoke them into fights, assaulting women, and being complete and total bitches, they arrange a one on one fight between one of their guys and one of the Antifa guys. Problem for them is, Antifa guy totally kicks his ass. LOL.

Patriot Prayer ends up retreating, and you can openly hear cries of, "We lost! We gotta go!" Antifa pursues them down the street and eventually gives up chase.

One year later, Cider Riot is suing the Patriot Prayer members who were there and several of them, including Joey Gibson himself, now have felony charges for inciting a riot.

Ha! I love it. They spent all that time planning and organizing that assault, and all they got was their ass kicked in a fight, a million dollar plus lawsuit, and several felony charges.

Come back anytime, fascists. If you get convicted of those felonies, no more guns for any of you.

But I'm thinking that that dimbulb from Florida who was promising to host monthly demonstrations in Portland was so full of shit his eyes are brown. Portland will be ready whenever he can swipe Mom's credit card again to buy a plane ticket.
