Hey, hey! Just checking in. Obama is speaking at Living History Farms in Des Moines today. He's speaking at an outdoor venue.
I would estimate the crowd at several thousand; maybe 10,000. Ginormous, very diverse, happy crowd-- jam packed and waiting to hear the President speak!

(19,475 posts)I didn't it was ever used for such purposes. I thought it was just for walking around in, looking at the historical farms, and getting very hot and sweaty.

(3,544 posts)You talk about a moving speech! I was so moved, it was like the night he was elected. What an excellent orator. There was no bullshit, called the GOP out for what they stood for, and not 1 lie. Damn, I was impressed. I hope it's online somewhere to reference.
