General Discussion
Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsOn September 6th, I am PLANNING on witnessing a mushroom cloud-laying MOTHERFUCKER.
The DNC is NOT for Democratic Underground, just like the RNC was NOT for Free Republic.
It's for the undecided voters. If we like what we see, GREAT. But who among us "needs" this to vote for Barack Obama? Just like the RNC, it is a marketing message to people who have not yet decided.
The RNC FUCKED UP. They put a senile Hollywood icon center-stage with an empty chair and came up looking as clueless as clueless gets.
I'm looking for ONE THING from President Obama's "acceptance speech."
I want to know how and why he's going to fight for a second term. Because if he turns in as piss-poor of a speech as Romney, there's no way he's going to rise above the Koch Bros. / Adelson cash dump. We might as well let Ann put in her order for the new drapes right now. But I don't see that happening.
Tell us why you want it or tell us why you don't.
After September 6th, we'll have been told.
I want to see him fight this fight and win it, but I can;t possibly want it more than he wants it for himself.

Obama is a sincere and honest, adept and truthfull orator. I am certain his words will be inspiring.
