The DNC is NOT for Democratic Underground, just like the RNC was NOT for Free Republic.

7. The undecided voters aren't usually fire-breathing progressives.

They're often centrists, moderates, and middle-of-the-roaders. So I don't know whether most DUers will be in a good position to know how effective the messaging is for that group.
