Republicans have done this to us... so why not do it to them?
I'm thinking Ron Paul has lots of followers in Texas... would it be a winning strategy to hard sell him to Republicans there? Ron Paul is on the ticket in Texas, is he not?
If we can split the GOP vote in Texas then Obama walks to home plate in this election. Win Texas, win the election...

(8,994 posts)So if we can pull another H Ross Perot in Texas, that would surely cost Romney the electoral votes of Texas.

(438 posts)...Tuesday evening and the internet is a buzz with wild speculation that he has some announcement to make. Some think he will endorse Gary Johnson, the Libertarian candidate. That will certainly cost Romney a whole bunch of votes. I think there is a lot of bitterness about the way Ron Paul's delegates were treated at the GOP convention and maybe it's payback time.

(2,921 posts)siphoning off a lot of Rmoney votes in Texas and elsewhere (Maine comes to mind) - I think Obama could have a sweep of all 50 states.
Liberterian Party has its own candidate - Gary Johnston.
So he will have to kick someone out of the Constitution Party or some other fringe right-wing party.
