Why has Romney not shown us his birth certificate?

Mitt Romney said the other day that he had never been asked to show his birth certificate. Well then, let me be the first — for two reasons.

First, President Obama has shown his and second, so have most of us.

I’ve had to show mine when I started school, when I changed schools, when I got my Social Security card, when I changed jobs and when I applied for a passport.

Mr Smug should show his also. It's only fair. Really, any presidential candidate should have to prove he or she is a US citizen.

Same with college transcripts. Both candidates had to have been great students to hold the degrees they have.

I did wonder how he got a passport without showing his birth certificate. I had to show mine, but then I didn't have a rich and powerful father...nor stock options to live off of while in college.

All Presidential candidates should have to show a birth certificate to prove citizenship when they file to run - I was surprised over the uproar about President Obama, because I just assumed they all had to, since natural born citizenship is a requirement for the office.
