House Dems need to step up the pace with subpoenas and document requests

This is a criminal investigation, and at this point, discovery requests should be an avalanche of requests for testimony and documents. Overwhelm the White House if need be and have attorneys ready to push back in court.

I know that it's early but the momentum and pace need to be kept up.

And she knows exactly what the House Dems need to do. And they're following her, not internet advisers who aren't in the ring with them.

I can tell you firsthand that the longer you delay discovery, the easier it will be to suppress evidence and intimidate witnesses.

Trump may be destroying documents as each hour goes by. Valuable time is being wasted here.

Kudos to Nancy for kicking off the impeachment inquiry, but if it's not handled properly, it will be disaster for the Dems next year.

Not only is she already getting excellent advice, she has decades of solid experience herself, so I'm sure she's already well aware of anything about evidence, discovery and elections you learned while working in big litigation, and much more.

It's fun watching him melt down. The more they let him melt down, the more he says on the record that makes getting those documents easier. The courts have considered his tweets to be policy and public statements.

The more he says, the less room he has to say they documents should be kept confidential.
