She said "Whistleblowers need to be protected."

It was at a town hall and she was very uncomfortable. The commentators noted how she is cornered between Trump and her conscience.

Joni Ernst is a nitwit. She is one of the most vapid members of the Senate, but I will be the first to give her credit for seeming to know the difference between right and wrong. Even when it pains her to demonstrate it.

what she said under pressure. These f-ers will always find a way to get around any verbal "commitments" they may have made.

"Whistleblowers need to be protected". That's a very generic comment. Next week she may say this specific whistleblower is not credible so doesn't need proper whistleblower protection.

You give her too much credit imo. They're still standing with trump, they deserve zero credit.
