Wow, Trump was just asked by a reporter

"Have you asked any foreign governments to investigate any corruption that DOESN'T involve your policial opponents?"

Trump replied: "We'd have to look into that."

(This is from his helicopter presser right now.)

to smear an opponent. He thrives on corruption as long as it benefits him. The fact that he didn't answer that question by indignantly saying something like: "I have never asked another country for a corruption investigation regarding political opponents!" tells us all we need to know.

Trump doesn't know what it means to read or listen closely. He heard some version of the question in his mind and came up with one of his standard non-answers.

In his mind when he uses phrases like "look into it" it sounds like business saavy, instead of admitting that he doesn't know something.

to George H.W. Bush's boy. Plus a bunch in stock that he sold acting on insider trading information. He should have been busted for that.

So far, I'm thinking they won't find anything illegal going on with Biden and his boy, but I've always thought that kind of thing was bullshit. If republicans want to propose legislation to keep our leaders kids from trading on their parents names, I suppose I'd be all for it. I kind of doubt they would do that.
