Otherwise how would we get around the filth-ridden DOJ (*coff* Barr *coff*)? That’s kind of a serious question, actually. What would we do if ICIG wasn’t a thing?

and they have had enough. The enormity of the crimes committed by the whole rotten syndicate masquerading as a government will eventually be exposed. They know where the grubby fingers of crime have not yet reached and are going there with the evidence.

and it was just a matter of time before they felt the need to embolden themselves to come forward. Between the IC and the military, I've been wondering which would step forward and try to get this *situation* to heel. At one point, I was thinking that a cabal within some agency or group - the IC being the most likely, IMO - was going to hire someone to take out the trash.

Whistleblower’s attorney says team now representing ‘multiple’ officials

IC WHISTLEBLOWER UPDATE: I can confirm that my firm and my team represent multiple whistleblowers in connection to the underlying August 12, 2019, disclosure to the Intelligence Community Inspector General,” the attorney, Andrew Bakaj, said in a tweet. “No further comment at this time.”
Mark Zaid, who also is a member of the original whistleblower’s legal team, confirmed to The Washington Post that the team is now representing a second whistleblower, who works in the intelligence community. The second individual has spoken to the inspector general of the intelligence community and has not filed a complaint. “Doesn’t need to,” Zaid said.

Andrew Bakaj is a former intelligence officer and criminal investigator who brings a history of distinguished service to the firm. This experience enables the firm to represent individuals in adverse security clearance actions, whistleblower activities, and individuals, corporations, and organizations who are facing criminal and/or administrative investigations. Notably, his background as a subject-matter expert in whistleblower reprisal investigations makes him uniquely qualified to represent individuals who have experienced retaliatory action as a result of lawfully engaging in protected activity—whistleblower reprisal—particularly when the action involves a security clearance. Moreover, he is a leading expert in security clearance matters. In his professional capacities, Andrew has advised and counseled numerous senior U.S. Government officials in a variety of legal and investigative areas.

Andrew has written numerous articles on security clearance matters, federal investigations, and whistleblower representation. He also provides legal commentary and analysis to various media outlets.

Andrew P. Bakaj

Through his practice Mr. Zaid often represents former/current federal employees, intelligence and military officers, Whistleblowers and others who have grievances or have been wronged by agencies of the United States Government or foreign governments, as well as members of the media. Mr. Zaid teaches D.C. Bar Continuing Legal Education classes on “Defending Security Clearances” and “The Basics of Filing and Litigating Freedom of Information/Privacy Act Requests”. He has been named as a Washington, D.C. Super Lawyer every year since he was profiled in 2009, as well as a “Best Lawyer” by Washingtonian Magazine in 2009, 2011, 2013 and 2015 (issued bi-annually), for his national security work. As the National Law Journal once wrote, “if Agent Mulder ever needed a lawyer, Zaid would be his man.”

In connection with his legal practice on international and national security matters, Mr. Zaid has testified before, or provided testimony to, a variety of governmental bodies including the Senate Judiciary Committee, the Senate Governmental Affairs Committee, the House Judiciary Committee, the House Government Operations Committee, the Department of Energy, the Public Interest Declassification Board and the Assassination Records Review Board. “Curiously for this town,” wrote the American Bar Association Journal, “Zaid is an equal opportunity thorn out to pierce the sides of suit jackets bearing both elephants and donkeys on the lapels.”

(at least some of them).. Would be real nice if the military (and a few other uniforms) were to follow suit. Also watch out for backlash to these exposures. I'm sure there are some Trumpy fans in the intelligence world as well. (No, I don't know .. have never known, WHY)
