https://www.rawstory.com/2019/10/trump-supporter-arrested-for-pulling-gun-on-woman-over-her-elizabeth-warren-bumper-sticker/Police in Moorhead, Minnesota this week arrested a Trump supporter who allegedly pulled his gun on a woman because he disapproved of her bumper sticker supporting the presidential candidacy of Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA).
The Star Tribune reports that an 18-year-old Moorhead woman told local police that she was confronted by 27-year-old Joseph Schumacher who pulled up alongside her car and started yelling about his dislike for the political bumper sticker on her car, police said.
The woman continued driving down the street, as she initially didnt believe the mans angry rants would amount to anything dangerous.
The man followed her and eventually got out of his vehicle, walked in front her car, and pulled out his gun, police said.
The woman called the police, who eventually found the man eating food at a nearby shopping center and discovered that he did indeed have a loaded handgun in his vehicle. Additionally, one of the two people who was riding in the vehicle with the man confirmed the Warren-supporting womans version of events to police.
He was subsequently booked into a local jail on suspicion of felony terroristic threats, being a felon in possession of a gun, and carrying a weapon without a permit.

(9,426 posts)to be the caliber of people who support the orange mess in the WH. Not too bright. So much for "free speech". Seems the only person in the US who is allowed to speak freely is the clown in the WH. He says whatever he wants, and the gop and his stupid supporters cheer him on. What a dangerous time we are living through. Many more of these supporters need to have to face justice, and pay fines for their complete STUPIDITY.

(498 posts)This is why I avoid bumper stickers or anything political on my car. I think a lot less people would have them if they understood the danger it puts them in.
But.. but.. gotta stand up for what's right???
I have a family I have to take care of. Whether they are in my car or not.

I lived in a number of states since the early '70's, no more stickers, no more tickets. Lesson learned.

the unlawful use of violence and intimidation, especially against civilians, in the pursuit of political aims.
The next step is to have better gun control or a licensing system to prevent such terrorists from acquiring weapons.

(5,176 posts)Took it off before I went into the stores, because one day while driving with my two young children, a group of men drove up on me in a typical jacked up truck, jumped out, flailing their arms about, screaming something about Obama. As they walked up the side of my vehicle, the traffic began to move so we got away. It scared my kids, and they asked why they were saying that about President Obama, and I just had to have a mental health discussion with them.
Something is really wrong with people who are so hateful of others who simply don't agree.

(54,436 posts)On the latest Parody Project video of "Fun Fun Fun," one right wing troll (calls himself "Deep State" ) must have posted at least twenty times, and others with (likely) computer-generated names like "Angel Meyers" and "Coleman Adamson," as well as unimaginative Russian contributions such as "Truthfully Freedom of speech."
Even "Deep State," who tries to come across as a right-wing intellectual, gives himself away by saying, "She's dangly an impeachment..." where anyone whose native language is English knows the difference between "dangling " and "dangly (who uses that anyway?)."
Here is the video, which I think you'll like:
