It's Obama's to lose right now and he is not the type to make big blunders

I feel pretty good coming out of the Republican Convention. No bounce for Romney and the polls don't seem to be fluctuating much with even a slight shift in swing states to Obama. It seems people have decided Obama may not be amazing but from where things were when he came in, he has done ok and the economy is growing some.

Romney is a pathetic candidate! He seems like a cold robotic fish and his tax thing I am sure is doing damage. He reminds everyone of what caused the downturn in the first place. Ryan has turned out to be a dud.

Obama is going to have to really drop the ball to lose and I don't see him doing that. Obama is quite sharp in debates and doesn't make many mistakes.

Never the less, anything is possible and it ain't over until the fat lady sings.

I have become more and more confident the past two months for Obama's re-election. And the voter fraud issue is a big one BUT we've even won three of those battles here lately. I simply cannot find one reason for an Independent to vote for Romney. Not one.

The President and our side will not come close.

We need work, money and fear not confidence.

always a good thing, there is a limit, money is not the answer to all things and money can in fact be a negative factor. There really is such a thing as enough, and there is also such a thing as too much spending, too much marketing. OFA and the Democrats are far from penniless. We have enough, plenty, sufficient. The other side has perhaps too much, an excess.
As Shakespeare said 'they are as sick that surfeit with too much as they that starve with nothing'.

I have a pretty good idea of how it can be used effectively. It's not all airtime and attack ads.

You can never have too much money in a campaign. Never.

Shakespeare never ran a campaign.

Addendum: you are right that we can still win, though. It will take a lot of effort and a bit of luck.

Make SURE all your friends, neighbors and relatives are registered and able to vote. And if they need photo ID and don't have a driver's license they have to get started NOW. The process can take MONTHS. Republicans are COUNTING on people not bothering or waiting till the last minute.

3 more job reports before the election. Hopefully they keep showing positive job creation.

After all they've seen? Republicans are loyal to their candidates. But so far not much bump from the RNC, which is good.

Like too many here have recommended here?

Or ridiculing the empty chair?

Duh! The only thing the Obama campaign will say about Clint Eastwood has already been said by President Obama. He's a big fan who loves his movies. That's the end of that.

Meanwhile, the DNC will move onto more important things. Like actually doing something that can win an election, contrasting Republican policy with Democratic policy, especially stating the latter.

When your opponents have hurt themselves, you don't need to rub salt into the wound. There's no need for that.
