Sen. Warner was on the local RW Radio with John Reid (former aid to Sen. George Allen) the host.
It was a friendly talk.
They discussed Syria. Sen. Warner at one point said ...the only person gaining from this is Vladimir Putin which that radio audience doesnt ever hear.
On Ukraine the host had to interject Are we SURE this is a REAL whistleblower?. Warner politely confirmed that it was and that many other people have come forward to confirm the report. Again something this radio audience doesnt hear.
Then the host said something that must be ruminating in RW circles but I hadnt heard Is it too close to the election to impeach?
Warners phone was choppy and I was pulling into a parking garage but he clearly turned that question around into an election security answer.
This reminds me of Moscow Mitch saying its too close to an election to hold a vote on Merrick Garland.
