The Washington Post reported this last night:

In a round of phone calls with conservative allies this weekend, Trump was told Republicans are struggling to defend him on so many fronts, according to an administration official who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss internal matters.

4. I've said for over a year

I've said for over a year that the Repubs will go along with Trump diverting everyone's attention while they do tons of covert corrupt acts in the shadows. When Trump is no longer tolerable they will impeach him, "install" Pence, get another milk toast, equally corrupt VP and the Repubs will tell the american voters: "we saw the problem, we corrected it, we are the party of Honor, so now everyone can vote for Pence in good consciousness in the 2020 & 2024 elections.........
