He's countering the "Would you prefer endless wars" from the Trump apologists but also some on the left. That's a dishonest argument. There has to be an alternative to just abandoning those to get slaughtered (civilians included) who fought with you against ISIS.

Marco’s a weasel, much like Lindsey Graham; they both need Trump’s base for their political survival. Rubio’s playing both ends from the middle, but in the end, he’ll back Trump till the bitter end.
