FL Governor Ron DeSantis hugging Rudy Giuliani's henchmen after claiming he didn't know them
I don't post much (been a lurker since the bush years) but this pissed me off. Being a Florida resident for the last 9 years I have always voted to get rid of these ________ (insert your own expletive/descriptive adjective/noun). You can not imagine how elated I was that in 2018, we finally had a democratic challenger for my distric'ts house seat. For years there was no challenger to whichever repugnant republican ran.
Upon reading this article I am thoroughly convinced that, though not in the way his supporters imagined, Trump will really drain the swamp. It's going to happen by guilt through association. Everything Trump touches and everyone who touches him turns to shit. I anticipate that very elected official that has the Trump stink on them, will either resign, go to prison, not run for re-election, turn state's evidence, face the wrath of Putin's secret assassins or pull a Jeffery Epstein.
Since then, DeSantis finally acknowledged that he indeed had a relationship with Igor Fruman and Lev Parnas, who have become major figures in the Democrats’ impeachment inquiry into Donald Trump’s presidency.
It’s still not known why the contribution, which took place one day before President Trump endorsed DeSantis, was given, but prosecutors contend that the pair’s contributions were in exchange for political favors. DeSantis has since ordered his political committee to return the $50,000 donation.
