It’s the scofflaw Republicans doing the childish security breaches. Remind them the Republicans don’t take their oaths seriously and would be in jail if they weren’t on the public dole in office.

You expect more from them than you would expect from any knuckleheaded congressmen.

It is not shocking that soldiers are held to a higher standard than any group of politicians.

This one is a piece of cake. You tell him that just because a bunch of privileged jagoffs think they have the right to negligently threaten our national security, the regs haven't changed and the US military is better than that. So take your discipline and learn from it. End of conversation.

Always follow the law/rules. One day, on my way to my car, I saw several NCOs, SNCOs not paying respect to the flag when the national anthem started playing. When they heard the music, one ran 30 yards back to the building, the others ran to their cars--to avoid standing at attention until the anthem completed. Me, an airman, noticed this and, knowing the difference between what I'm supposed to do (pay respect) and what I see others doing. I continued to stand at attention and salute. Bottom Line: Make sure he obeys the law---ANYWAY! It's not his fault our government is in the hands of a bunch of low-bottom, criminal-minded hoodrats, but it is, what it is....
