If anyone had told me I'd be watching and replaying a video of trump's face I would have laughed.
The background BOOing is like music.
I wasn't able to find the extreme closeup on YouTube, but here it is on Twitter:

Like I said, this is a first.

(1,265 posts)Some people have said it looks as though he's going to cry. To me it seems he's clenching his jaw and vowing that he will make them all suffer a horrible death, for they have blasphemed a god.

(796 posts)The real horror for Trump was that he expected adulation as a conquering hero for getting al-Baghdadi. Being greeted with boos was a big deflation/humiliation/insult.
Why should we believe what Trump said about Baghdadi? After 13,000 documented lies, this is most probably another lie.

(18,748 posts)He wants a ticker-tape parade wherever he goes. And today, he looked like an ordinary man who'd been sucker-punched. The element of surprise is what was amazing--to all of us.

(13,776 posts)Yours is the best clip I've seen/heard of "Lock him up."
Many of the tweets I've seen from last night were really short and didn't have great audio. The clip at the link below is my favorite so far because it shows the whole stadium, and how abruptly the stadium-wide cheers for the military switch to boos when Trump's big dumb face appears (and then back again once it's gone).

That was a fantastic link. Oh, that was beautiful. It it really surprising to me to want to see his face. Ordinarily, I switch gears and go look at something else. But also the difference in the crowd sounds between the booing and the cheering was wonderful. *Thanks!*

(18,748 posts)All we've ever seen out of that guy's countenance are the same things. Today, we get to enjoy his discomfort. Acute, pants-shittingly embarrassed discomfort. Probably hit him smack in the bowels on live TV.

(9,426 posts)Graham, Goetz and others really think people love him. Maybe this will finally make them wake up. He is truly despised. Maleria's eyes are looking even more Asian. More kidney surgery? tRump's piggy eyes look like two pee holes in the (orange) snow. Must have been quite a celebration at Camp David for Jarvanka's anniversary.

(18,748 posts)I took his little teeth-clenching as rage, and pardon me, but I believe the guy was so scared his bowels were shocked into action! I've been in large groups with all kinds of energy, and I'm guessing he really felt all that contempt. He was surprised! That's how people win wars-- the element of surprise.
I mean, didn't Mel look a woman who just got a noseful?

(269,157 posts)Watch the guy behind him on the left -his hand on his face is interesting - I saw a smaller size clip with this but this is stunning.

It's a really good look for him. As would be a dapper matching orange prison outfit.

(30,760 posts)He had a bewildered look then, too. He said he had not expected that reaction.
Later, he claimed they were laughing with him. At a press conference, he claimed that they did not laugh at him, that it was fake news.
I am happy that his face was rubbed in his unpopularity at last night's ball game.. We need more of this. He needs to get a dose of reality as often as possible.

(18,748 posts)of his insufferability and his repugnance. This is so refreshing. Fingers crossed that this sets a precedent. It's comforting to so many people to have seen this. And I love all the angles and points of view people have recorded! You're so right. We need more of this.
