General Discussion
Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsJim Jordan was complaining that Adam Schiff wouldn't allow certain questions
and he and Steve Scalise were calling it a Soviet style hearing.
These two are disgraceful little twerps.
Their questions were designed to try and figure out the identity of the whistleblower.
Adam Schiff wouldnt allow it as he is committed to protecting the whistleblower.
The republicans are shameful liars. They are the ones who have no respect for democracy.
They are unworthy of the offices they hold.
Jim Jordan in particular is a sniveling jackass.

On my DJT Traitor Team List (pretty sure):
Pence
McConnell (very low profile, though)
McCarthy (on the team, but out of his depth)
Cast of clowns:
Graham / Scalise / Jordan / Gaetz / Gohmert / King ......too many more than I care to list.

(45,806 posts)get the identity of the whistleblower, even after the Colonel said in his opening remarks that he doesn't KNOW who the whistleblower is. They didn't ask any questions about the Ukraine phone call, which this witness was testifying about today, they just created chaos and questions to out the whistleblower's ID.
I'm glad Adam shut them down!

(86,612 posts)He and the other jerks won't be able to play their clown roles during the open hearings! they have been written out in the new resolution tha was released today. the last moments of Lawrence O'Donnell's show is a discussion of what the resolution says. E.J. Dionne's comments are music to my ears.

(51,591 posts)a circus since their committees are not going to be part of it at all! On top of that there will be 45 min of uninterrupted questioning instead of 5 min snippets as well as the professional person doing the questioning. I think it is the same guy who questioned Lewandowski last time.

(86,612 posts)about the "staff" counselor who questioned that jerk, speculation among many on the shows indicated it would be that guy. Could be others as well. There was mention that there were specific instructions regarding defendant attorneys (ghouliani for one) so they will not be able to disrupt as well but I am not sure what those are yet. I got a phone call during that part of the conversation.

(6,591 posts)...if it means they can win their next election.
I don't feel like that is new, at all.
To me, the big question is ... what will we do about it?
We need a specific plan targeted at exactly that issue ...& now (& for several years) I don't feel like we have one.
