8. The alternative was voted for by the republicans...

It included many draconian cuts including cuts to the military budget that Lyin' Ryan and the rest of these insincere jackals agreed to. It was the House republicans in particular that got the credit worthiness of the United States lowered. Now they want to blame someone else for their disastrous deal. Sorry Pinocchio Paul, you shit in your own mess kit - it was the President that offered a grand deal, it was the republican party that voted for short term political gain over the financial health of the nation.

10. My boss was asked one time to explain what she does.

She was in the front of a room full of everyone from our department. She hemmed and hawed, and couldn't answer. I think they were generous. They kept her on until she had her baby, then gave her a pink slip about a month after coming back from maternity leave. They totally did away with her position.
