Drumpf seems in a panic to both win reelection and keep Vlad happy. Is Putin's plan to keep puppet dancing, to his own ends, or will he some day make good on a threat to bust drumpf on the public stage? So much damage already done to US reputation. Rs don't seem to care.

9. Putin will embarrass his puppet currently in the WH only to the extent

that it serves his immediate purpose without permanent damage. When tRump can no longer be of any real value he will still be protected. Putin has a geopolitical plan that conceivably will involve other leaders, and he has that to consider. Plus he has the Republican Party to balance the scale. tRump has a similar problem on a smaller scale with the pardon decisions on his convicted associates, in particular Roger Stone.

10. The GOP

has become the political arm of Putin/Russia.
If Putin turns on Trump it cripples the GOP.
Consequently he now "owns" the GOP by default. The GOP lapse in even the most basic forms of loyalty to country has put our Republic in jeopardy for the foreseeable future.

11. I'm hoping the SCOTUS is not on Putin's payroll

It is obvious to the casual observer that the GOP has been under Russian influence, in both the executive and legislative branches of our government. So while the courts have been heavily influenced by the recent additions of right wing incompetents, I think there are enough civic minded judges left on the Supreme Court to help restore sanity to our country.

There are a number of cases about DFT slowly winding their way to SCOTUS. How those are decided will show us how compromised the highest court is.

12. Putin's oligarchs are busy shoveling money in all the right places,

quietly insinuating themselves at all levels of politics and business with cold, hard cash. When Trump is gone, all he'll get from Vlad is radio silence. Tool's usefulness is spent, moving on.
