This pick was also for strategy. It reaches out for the Latino vote which is what the Dems want. Julian probably knows how important he is and knows what's at stake here.

This was a very good pick and he's got a hell of a good story.

That guy is part of the generation that will take over eventually. He was wonderful and I related to everything he said, especially when talked about taking his daughter to school. It actually made me tear up. We all want better for our children. And to do that we need to elect President Obama again.

His message was totally on point and he had an amazing and compelling personal testimony about the American dream. You know how many Hispanics he mobilized? This can be a tough sell because of the Catholic teaching on abortion.

I had the same issue with the speaker before him (sorry I don't remember his name, I'm Canadian so I don't know most of the people). Fantastic speeches but slightly off cadence/delivery. But this is just stupid nit picking. Like I said it was great, and as others have said it was a good strategic move picking him.
