Sen. Thom Tillis (R-NC) published an op-ed on Fux Noise Tuesday morning, as the second week of public impeachment inquiry hearings got underway.
In the op-ed, Tillis defended Donald Trump and accused House Democrats of treating Trump unfairly by allowing the whistleblower, whose complaint is at the center of the inquiry, to remain anonymous
"It's clear that Democrats dont care about the facts," Tillis wrote. "They don't care about fairness. They don't care about due process rights."
Tillis also claimed that Democrats "don't care about doing their jobs and passing legislation like the U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement or my legislation to stop dangerous sanctuary cities."

That is no longer the situation because we now have the testimony of people who were on the call, but they still want to out him - and the only reason for that now is so they can harass and intimidate him and threaten his job (or even his safety) as a warning to other potential whistleblowers.

How odd that an elected official is so ignorant of the clear language of Article II. Or maybe he's hoping that his constituents are that ignorant.

The Repugs aren't as interested in the current whistleblower as they are in intimidating other possible future whistleblowers throughout this corrupt administration.
The whistleblower laws were created for a reason.

And the Republican controlled Senate hasn't even held a hearing on Tillis' sanctuary cities bill, so his blaming Democrats is just another piece of BS from the BS shoveling Repubs.
