Sure he is governor of the 7th largest city in the USA, a state that is larger than several states. But it would really help if he had some statewide service such as Governor or Senator. Or at least US Representative. But in Texas I doubt he can win a statewide race and he'd have to move to a district where his brother isn't already serving as US Representative.

HOWEVER.....

I think he would make a good Vice President, which would give him the experience needed to be President.

We still need him here too badly to let him go that fast anyway.

I'm seeing it down the road for him though, and there's a really good chance well lose him to a VP appointment before we'd like to.
