It's an older article, but it is the first time I've seen it.
It shows President Obama and Mrs. Obama laughing and interacting with a young child who is in a hilarious Halloween costume.
Proving that it is possible to be POTUS, and a human being as well.
You don't have to be an apricot lizard to be POTUS.

(11,738 posts)If any of the Democratic nominees win in 2020, we will see a decent human being in the White House again. Think about it, even Joe Biden with his gaffes is a genuinely empathetic, decent person who can laugh and cry with people, who truly feels people's pain and who has a lovely wife and decent children (despite Hunter's problems). Elizabeth Warren? Bernie Sanders? Both good solid people who have values and who despite the fire in their bellies to change the system, are genuinely intelligent and feeling people who want to do right by people.
Will the country be smarter and kinder? That is a tougher question.
The sad reality is that we have always had between 20 to 30 percent of the population who are truly horrible people. Racist, sexist, greedy people who truly want a hierarchy based on race, gender, and religion. They had been shamed into hiding themselves from public until President Obama was elected and the Republicans needed to pull them out from the shadows to maintain power. With Trump, they feel that this is the last best chance to entrench and expand.
What needs to happen is that we need to really try to mobilize the majority of people who are decent people (if misguided or apathetic) and pose this as a crossroads as to what the US will be. Will we continue our slide into becoming a pariah state or will we try to live up to our ideals?
