Inertia

Inertia: a tendency to do nothing or to remain unchanged.

Most of you here might disagree with me, but this is truly how I feel. I had Trump's number as soon as he took that escalator ride. So please save it if you want to scold me for making this reference...I have felt this day from day one, and I have been more than right so far. My opinion expressed herein will not be changed.

If he is not removed by the Senate, or if he is not voted out...he will go full Hitler.

Why?

He has literally worsened every day, every hour, since taking up residency in the White House.

If he is allowed to remain in office, the tendency to worsen will not change. He will continue to get worse.

Approximately 1 year until the election. 4 years for the next president. If he is not removed or if he gets re-elected, that's 5 more years of worsening. That's 5 more years of continuing and accelerating gas lighting and crazy making. 5 years of the marginalization of entire groups of human beings.

If this happens, many people will die in the next 5 years. He has proven what a fucker he is. His mindset is a known commodity.

So for the Jim Jordans of the world, and for all of the Republicans who insist on supporting him until the bitter end, I have some news for you...you're going to have a bad time if you don't get him the fuck out of there. You are at personal risk. Your children are at personal risk. People will die, and you know it. No hyperbole...people will die. People have died, and that can only worsen. So take your screaming and your fucking bullshit and shove it up your guilty asses, Republicans. Take your bullshit, which you know is bullshit, and eat it until you fucking choke on it, you motherfuckers.

Karma baby.

GOTV.

1. If he wins in 2020, he will go full Hitler, no doubt about it.

He'll have nothing to lose and yes his mental state has not improved at all so far.

If he's president in 2020, by 2024 America will be an isolated nation. We will be back to 1900 in terms of international relations. The world will move on from us and we well never have the kind of standing we used to have prior to Trump.

I'd thought W had damaged our international reputation badly, that was a tickle compared to what Trump has done so far. Another 4 years of that? Its over, we done, hello China the new master of the planet. Won't that be swell?

the subject and I don't really think that tRUMP would like his life and efforts to end that way. Maybe we could set up a media blitz as a reminder, put it on tv and he'll see it. Whaddya think?

12. There is little love for China in the world

Goodwill towards America has propped us up for decades, China doesn't have that and won't ever have that.

China's hold on their current slot, or surpassing the US regardless of what we do, is tenuous at best. China isn't as diverse as we used to be (or are now) and they have severe social problems and bureaucratic bloat that makes the US look simple and idyllic. That center can't hold for China and they have no goodwill or good faith to float them when things are rough. They are dependent on major markets like the US or EU to buy all the expensive things China makes daily. No other economies can consume China's output if China loses the US or EU for whatever reason, for example, a major Depression.

Our economies have a symbiotic relationship. Since we've shifted manufacturing to China, mostly (there is quite a bit in Mexico, but the lion's share is in China), we are dependent on them for goods. In turn they need constant factory output consumption to keep things going.

This is why I don't fear a Chinese invasion of America or even a economic war. Trump maybe shithouse crazy but China isn't, they'll never let this tariff war really get nasty. They know they need American dollars. They've done a good job of retaliating when Trump hits them, but not so much as to make it a real 'war'. Just to make it hurt a little, but not kill.

China also has something the US does not. Patience. They can simply wait Trump out. Unless Trump performs a coup against the Constitution, he will be gone in 4 years no matter what. Then China will deal with someone not-Trump and have a fresh start. I am sure they'd prefer that be sooner than later, but they can wait. Asia is an ancient place, waiting for generations is something they do. So its in China's best interests to keep us on the hook, but not in the boat, and they have the patience to do it.

What is worse is knowing how many people are totally OK with him going full Hitler.

I think that politicians who continue to support him are either weak, or they are filthy dirty.

I am really worried about what the next year will bring us. I don't trust them at all. Our only hope is that he has a major breakdown or that he kicks the bucket. I don't think they will allow us to win, even if we do. And if we do, I don't think he will go peacefully. If he lives through the next year, there will be no peaceful outcome.

once he loses the election, he'll simply declare it invalid and there will be no one willing to enforce the outcome.

7. The landscape is changing, the process is moving. There is no way we get Trump re-elected ...

one way or another. I'm more worried about a Pence rope-a-dope. Not much, but a little.

We have to all vote, every election, every time just like they do. Fortunately there's more of us and we need to stop counting on that. Not even Trump thought he could or would win. We sat down confident and the RW came out and voted.

8. I agree. What would it take for the Republicans to turn against him?
Fri Dec 6, 2019, 02:34 PM
Dec 2019

He would have to threaten them all personally. Maybe he already has with his "code" words.

Then it would take one Republican with enough spine to stand up to him. Having one Republican who refuses to sacrifice everything for him is something we can't count on.
