Clinton's team knew that the only way to have a fighting chance was to go head on with Fox, Rush, and the not-so-liberal news media. Staff worked around the clock to detect and instantly respond to any lies from the right. It appears that Biden's team is doing just that, and though the now viral NATO commercial wasn't in response to an attack, it was produced extremely quickly and became part of the news cycle that it addressed.
I hope that whoever gets the nomination takes a page from the Clinton playbook. When it comes to national politics, to borrow from Clinton's famous saying, "It's the media, stupid".
