Been on the on-line comment section of my local daily rag ...

and the rwing nuts are out in force. They were strangely absent during the rnc, which led my to alternate, speculative conclusions: 1) They really didn't like what they were hearing; or,
2) There are really only 2 or 3 rwing posters, and they were all at the rnc; but I digress ...

I can't believe on a Michelle Obama thread ... their commenting on the convention moving in-doors, when the forecasts are at 40% of thunderstorms!

One particular response actually made me laugh out loud ... "How many NFL games have been canceled due to rain? The answer is a rain-coat and an umbrella."

My response:

Your kidding, right. a rain-coat and an umbrella is certainly a good and wise choice IN A THUNDERSTORM ... especially when the choice is to hold the event in-doors!

Some here give new meaning to the addage, 'too dumb to come in out of the rain!'"

to respond to the "can't get enough people to show up" narrative ...

My response:

"So you think an organization or individual that draws lines stretching a half mile, for tickets to the warm-up act, would have an attendance problem for the head-liner? Seriously? But while you're thinking about that ... Google: Four Words: 'Ford Field+Romney+Photos'."

I got a bunch of "thumb-downs" (the comment rating system) and zero responses.

That I have discovered a very accurate mathematical "rightness" formula (forgive the mathematical inaccuracy ... I am far from a mathematician - any mathematicians of there, please tighten this up):

TD F(r) R=LoC, where:

TD=Thumbs Downs Rate
r=Refutation Rate
LoC=Level of Correctness
