I know that this is a sports topic, but I just can’t see the love for professional sports anymore. Gerrit Cole just signed a contract for $325 million dollars with the Yankees! No wonder, we middle class folks can’t afford to go to professional sporting events!? That is just crazy! In fact college coaching pay is out of hand too! I guess my 50 inch tv will do me good, because I won’t be go to any college or pro games anymore!

2. I have never been that into sports. But I am very aware of how expensive it has become

for normal people to attend a professional game. It's truly obscene.

I do understand how ordinary people might want to see their local team, and that they may not be able to pay the insane amount for the tickets.

I wish there were a solution.

If you're a baseball fan and live near a farm team franchise, you can (so I'm told) see excellent baseball at a relatively low price. Even though it's not quite the professional team you'd like to see, at least it's baseball. Alas, in football or basketball there are no such low-cost alternatives.
