Of course, they aren't interested in fulfilling their constitutional duty. Seems like McConnell and his fellow GOP minions are planning on just having opening statements in the trial and then immediately proceeding to dismiss the charges without hearing any evidence!! That would mean the trial is likely to be over by the end of the 1st or 2nd week of January at the latest.
No surprise, of course.

I don't see any reason to rush this through at all. That way they can put the blame on Trump that it's taking so long "We are trying to get it done faster, but you all are obstructing us. Just come talk to us under oath and it will be over with."
