Answer This, Republicans

If your “pResident” is not acting as being above the law, why is he free to instruct his staff to ignore legal subpoenas? Subpoenas are not rendered illegal or inoperative simply because you disagree with them, or the reasons behind them being issued.

If your “pResident” is not acting as being above the law, why is he free to refuse to produce his tax returns when the law states – unequivocally and in plain language – that his tax returns ‘shall’ be turned over to Congress upon their request for same?

If your “pResident” is not acting as being above the law, why has he been arguing in the courts that his executive privilege extends to whatever he says it extends to, rather than what the law says is covered by that privilege?

If your “pResident” is innocent of all charges asserted in the articles of impeachment, why has he steadfastly refused to produce any documents or witnesses that might tend to exonerate him?

If your “pResident” is truly interested in fighting corruption, why did he not see the corruption under his own nose – the corruption that led to the indictment, guilty pleas, and/or imprisonment of his own ‘best people’ like Manafort, Gates, Cohen, Stone, et al.

If your “pResident” has nothing to hide, why have his meetings and phone calls with Putin and other foreign leaders been kept secret, the records of which have been stored on servers only accessible by his own people and not the American people at large?

If your “pResident” did not engage in a quid-pro-quo arrangement with President Zelinksy, why did Rick Mulvaney – his own Director of the Office of Management and Budget, as well as acting White House Chief of Staff – publicly announce that a quid-pro-quo arrangement had indeed happened, and we should all just ‘get over it’?

If your “pResident” has, as you now insist, never engaged in improper or impeachable behaviour, why are you not urging him to release all documents, and allow the testimony of all witnesses who have firsthand knowledge of the events and actions at the heart of the articles of impeachment?

If your “pResident” is acting on behalf of the American people, why has he consistently put the interests of Russia above the interests of the people he swore to serve and protect?

If your “pResident” is an honest broker, why has he lied to the citizenry about everything from the size of his inauguration attendees to the state of his health?

If your “pResident” is devoted to ‘America First’, why is all of his MAGA merchandise – along with all furnishings for his hotels and golf clubs – being manufactured in low-wage countries, and not in the United States?

If your “pResident” is concerned with fiscal responsibility, why has the deficit been exploded by his tax-cuts to the wealthiest individuals and corporations – a debt that will be paid-off by the middle-class who weren’t afforded those tax-cuts?

If your “pResident” is concerned with foreign interference in our elections, why did he stand on the stage in Helsinki and declare that Putin was blameless in attacking our 2016 election – despite the overwhelming evidence to the contrary?

If your “pResident” is committed to upholding the Constitution, why is he challenging what it says, and why it doesn’t apply to him?

If your “pResident” is innocent of all he’s been accused of, why are you trying to deflect from his words and actions by accusing Joe Biden and his son of being ‘guilty’ of crimes that, had they actually occurred, could have been investigated by our own FBI and CIA, but were instead left to be ‘investigated’ by Ukraine?

If your “pResident” is not a Russian-controlled asset, why has his every action and policy been to the benefit of Russian interests over American interests?

If the country is, as you keep saying, against the impeachment of your “pResident”, why do the polls show that 51% of the country is in favour of his impeachment and removal from office?

If the Democrats are, as you keep reiterating, pursuing impeachment because they know they can’t beat Trump in the 2020 election, why do you keep ignoring the polls that say any number of Democrats can and will beat Trump in that election?

If your “pResident” is guiltless, why have you not offered a scintilla of evidence as the proof thereof, instead of arguing how ‘unfair’ it is to hold him accountable for his actions?

You Republicans have now demonstrated your complete inability to defend the indefensible, and are instead relying on the bullshit spewed by your “pResident” to justify what cannot be justified. You have not only swallowed his lies, you are regurgitating the lies crafted by the Russians – lies meant to destabilize our government and render our democracy inoperable.

You knew the day your “pResident” sided with Putin over our own intelligence agencies that he was on the side of Russia, and NOT on the side of the United States. And the minute you chose to defend that position was the minute you confirmed that you, too, are on the side of our enemies.

election process and everybody knows it. Using that metric tRUMP's every action is corrupt and there is no valid defense for him.

And that plan is probably still in his mind for the future (if he can escape NYS justice scot-free).

Scream as loud as you can. Ugly contorted faces as you twist yourself into a place trying to defend the indefensible.

Witness intimidation at the very same time they are testifying against him? Which Rushablican Senators would stand for the Rule of Law on these ones?

if they were doing something so bad, why didn't they get investigated back then by the FBI? Why leave it to another country?
