1. It's almost weird that they didn't get someone just as evil as Trump but way smarter and

better at it. He may very well have gotten away with 90% of what he's done without all the batshit crazy stuff. But maybe that's like saying Hitler could have ruled the world if he been nice to the Jews. Trump needed the rallies and all the hate to get where he is. Most Trump supporters use judgment, logic and critical thinking skills in their everyday jobs and personal lives, yet chose to put their idiot caps on for anything related to politics due to being brainwashed by right-wing media. The process is reinforced by their association only with like-minded people in their social lives.

So no, the millions of businesspersons and highly skilled workers that vote Republican do not lack these skills.
