This is no longer about Trump or the Republicans in Congress.

This is now all about the Americans people. The facts, the crimes, are not hidden. They are all right out in the open The people have all the power, they do the voting, they have the power to hold their representatives responsible. All of what is taking place is because the people are letting it happen.

That is the cold hard truth. This trial will tell us if enough Americans are paying attention or even care about what is happening right in front of them.

If Trump and the Republicans destroy our democracy it will be because the people let them.

The founding fathers gave the people an amazing constitution that allows the people to control their own destiny. If the people don't use it, don't honor it, they deserve to lose everything.

1. Great. Now let's pray for a fair, uncorrupted election. This is the election that may save America.

2. This is the problem with the idea of the election saving America.

If Trump is corruptly acquitted that may lead to his defeat in the 2020 election. The next Democratic president would restore order. But what about the next Republican president? He would be able to do what Trump did. It is possible even a Democratic president may be corrupted by the precedent Trump has put in place.

3. A smart Democratic politician will acknowledge our differences

And turn those differences into strength. It takes many different colors to make a beautiful painting. It takes many individual parts to make a functional machine. All the colors and parts are important and necessary for success.

Unifying and caring forces must take hold of those colors and parts and uses them wisely. They will then create masterpieces and build magnificent machines. Republicans take short cuts and paint and build without all the colors and parts needed for unification and success. They paint bleak and off putting pictures which are always missing something. They build machines which appear to run for awhile, but always break down sooner or later.

Democrats have the best painters and builders, and just need all the colors and parts to show up to the production and there will be happiness again.

for generations. i do what I can and will not accept blame on top of every other disaster that has and will continue to befall us.

i blame republicans, democracy-hating oligarchs and fascists that they are. i also hate them.
