you probably aren't as used to it as us... I am -what I call- in the "artic region" of Vermont... always get the most snow and coldest temperatures but I have an AWD with studded tires

…although when I was working on the road in Kansas (Hiawatha) we hit some pretty wicked weather

Lived a few years in the U.P.

I can handle the cold and snow. The road crews, otoh, never have enough funding to cover everything. We also tend to get lots of ice and you can only do do much, especially when you're driving on untreated roads with very little lighting. Add to that drivers with little experience, especially since I live in a college town that recruits nationwide and we have a military base.

Now you can see why it's best to stay put.

7. I attended San Diego's today.

It was a pretty impressive turn out considering that it came together only after Nadler announced the House will vote only last Wed. It has been planned since the end of Oct but they had to wait for the House announcement.

Now we have to call the GOP senators, write postcard, call friends and family, etc. Our work has only just begun! RESISTANCE IS PATRIOTIC!
