any british historians out there?

just curious how donnie's power and relationship with congress today compares to king george iii's power and relationship with parliament leading up to the american revolution.

obviously, the house of commons didn't try to impeach him or anything like it, but i imagine king george had the house of lords in his back pocket the way mcturtle and republicans have donnie's back. and likely for similar reasons, to protect the established order of privilege and wealth....
