(7,715 posts)Anyways, I did jury duty earlier this year, but was dismissed as we weren't needed.
It's actually a critical part of our "job" as Americans. At least in the America I know!

The DA didn't have an ironclad case.
With reasonable, not guilty was the only choice.

Not a pleasant experience.

(73,631 posts)The judge told us that the defendant was dealing with other issues. I figure that it had to do with prior convictions. No real proof, but strong indicators though
