Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsJust heard a good one today, from a (now former) Trump supporter, no less!
After reading what Trump said about Dingell, she told me "Trump is like trailer-park trash after winning the lottery, he has money, but he still has no class at all."
Amen.

The trailer-park trash label comes from how they live or what they do.
Having a yard full of broken cars and other junk.
Being the local drunk who screams at clouds.
Getting busted repeatedly for selling and/or using dope.
And implying a congressman is now "in hell"
"Jay-zus told me!"

(58,785 posts)park full of decent people. Many retirees live in trailers to stretch their means and continue to be self reliant, or just to have extra to play and travel with. We knew a divorced single mother who rented inexpensively to keep her daughter in her previous school and a man who gave his assortment of homes away to his children after his wife died and went to live in a trailer park on a river where a fishing buddy lived; pretty sure from his fancy truck, travels, etc., that he could still live wherever he wanted.
I'm keyboarding from a trailer now, though not in a park, and suggest a better version of that saying:
"_______ is like a Trump in the White House." No need for elaboration.

Are people "trash'' because of where they live?
It doesn't seem like a Democratic value.

For the record, my family lived in a trailer until I was six years old. My husband lived in a trailer until we were married and bought a house. My aunt and uncle lived in a trailer for several years. It became too small for their family. They designed and built a home on their property only then.

(9,426 posts)who lived in trailer parks. Every last one of them could teach tRump some manners. Money can not buy CLASS. He will never have any. I have never seen a trailer with gold paint on every surface, like that whorehouse tRump lives in in NY.

(6,448 posts)the guy who lived across from me (during my unfortunate 6 month lease) was watching his NASCAR one Sunday and whenever his "boy" took the lead, he would run outside and squeeze off a shotgun blast into the air.
He could become a Foxworthy joke at any moment, but I didn't know him enough to call him trash.
