Walking out this morning I walked past someone's house and I don't know why, just thought to glance back. The woman who lives in the house is a neutral person in our community scur-fuffle, so I don't tread too deeply to find out if there are other things we might disagree on. I saw her in the sideyard, gardening and because she was looking in my direction I just instinctively waved. But even before my hand came down I noticed that something was amiss. She had a sourpuss look on her face.
"What did I do now?" I thought. And then I remembered a few things from the past that suggest she's Republican.
Okay, so fair warning. Republicans are not happy today so steer clear or prepare to take the brunt of their unhappiness.

(377 posts)I was like, of course you will. . I thought nothing less. Actually she will just say she voted for him but never actually make it out to vote. Then I remembered impeachment, hence an out of the blue, unusual political FB post. Generally it is just her and her friends drinking. Never political.
I thought it would be interesting to simply ask, why? Wait for her to come up with a reason. I know she knows squat. But I did not want to battle all her moron friends.

(22,124 posts)If they can't get over it, tough. Run home to Mama.
It doesn't mean that I'm going to ignore someone breaking the law and in general, just being a d**khead, and not doing the job he's supposed to be doing, e.g., be presidential for once, eh?
Thanks for the warning. I'm sure that tempers are flaring in some areas of the Country.

(5,812 posts)Last evening, I had to talk to someone who is a MAGAt about something we are involved in -- car stuff. I could not figure out until I saw your thread what the hell was wrong with this guy last night -- he's usually a pretty funny guy. Had to have been that his King was uncrowned.

(15,330 posts)those sick ass Retrumplicans, foaming at the mouth during the debate yesterday come from.
If they're representative of the folks that live there, I want to avoid those places like the plague.
