Curious Post - still a lot to be uncovered in SDNY??

Sandi Bachom
@sandibachom
I'm a New York journalist. I was in the Deutsche Bank hearings, Lev Parnas bail hearing and 3 days in court with Jeffrey Epstein and 2 days after his death. TRUST me there is some really bad stuff coming down involving Trump, ALL these cases come back to Trump watch SDNY

Angles, loose ends, tidbits, connections I've not heard of, not that I follow this all very closely. But still a lot of people who think something really big will break at some point, or perhaps some day. Senate trial and expected acquittal is not a very clean incision.

the New York AG's office also. Justice moves at a snails pace at times,and patience is always hard to attain.

Just saying there's bad stuff doesn't impress me. What bad stuff? Or were all of those hearings closed in some way and all that went on in them embargoed?

I have no doubt that we've only seen the tip of the iceberg. I just have doubts that we'll ever see more than a tiny fraction of his crimes or that he'll be prosecuted for any of them.

so now he can be pardoned.
So, where is the Southern District in all this?
Hoping this won't be another white whale in the impeachment process.

Plus, the SDNY reports to William Barr. He will see that all Trump crimes are hidden as long as Trump is president. It is only with a Democratic president and a new AG that the gag orders Barr has enforced will be lifted and SDNY can indict for crimes committed. If Trump is reelected, those crimes may never see the light of day because the statute of limitations will run out.

The scope of his powers were either cut off by Barr or misrepresented by news media. He was not allowed to follow the money trail. However there are still ongoing sealed probes that he initiated. My guess is that they are what's behind the tweet. Gates was given a light sentence due to his past cooperation and his current cooperation in "an ongoing, sealed investigation".

He also plainly stated to the world that Russia is attacking us "even as we sit here". Can't blame Mueller for nobody doing anything about that, nor can we blame him for laying out evidence of ten counts of obstruction that congress could not pursue, thanks to further ongoing obstruction by Trump.
Hopefully Don Mcgahn will testify before the trial. But if not, he can be impeached again.

The next Democratic AG needs to change the legal opinion that presidents can not be indicted.
