Maybe explain to trump* folks - stock market rise screws you as a worker?

Most trump* supporters that I know (UP of MI) are poor workers that don't own any stocks or bonds. Some of these uninformed are screaming about how high the stock market has gone up under trump*. Please explain that investors/profiters rarely give anything to the workers in a Capitalist system out of control.

No one I know has stock.
I never understood why Wall Street was such an "indicator" of our
economy. For the rich, yes, but for the common man or woman it
doesn't mean much. It's like looking in a window at what all the swells are
having for dinner.

All the rest are old construction guys. No nothing except SS, if that.
Believe it or not, there's a big part of the US that lives like that.

most construction guys got nothing. It's always boom/bust. three months of everyday work, six months of none, If they were lucky enough to work for a company that actually deposited their SSA funds they might have a little.

In construction there ain't no IRAs, keoghs, or that fancy librul stuff. Everyone wants all their money now.

I am one of those guys, so I do have an inkling.

I do not share in profits anymore but when i did it was hundreds of dollars a year hardly noticeable .
